Owner and repairman Rob is a Brass and Woodwind Specialist.
Rob plays all instruments, specializing on clarinet, sax and flute and has a musical and technical shop background having studied in musical instrument technology program at S.U.N.Y. Morrisville in upstate New York graduating at the top of his class of 1981. His work ranges from repadding clarinets and saxes to dedenting, buffing trumpets and tubas.
Rob currently plays saxophone in a 6 piece tribute band Vintage and the Dave Dillon Blues Band as well as Black Rock. Rob is married and is busy with his 3 young children.
Woodwind specialist Troy has been repairing instruments for almost 20 years and has probably overhauled over 500 saxophones and 1000 flutes. Troy specializes in professional sax repads for the discriminating player and gets horns sent to him from all over.
Troy is a professional sax player having played in many settings and groups.
Troy is married with 2 children and can be found canoeing on many rivers in Algonquin Park.
Seth, the youngest and newest member of Music Aid is a professional trombonist having studied at several Universities including at USC with Bill Watrous. When Seth is not playing important gigs, he is repairing or rebuilding brass instruments at Music Aid for schools, amateurs and professionals. Seth is a qualified Buffer and Lacquerer and does all the refinishing for Music Aid. Seth is also a busy father with his young son.
